PALMTHERAPY

What is PALMTHERAPY®?

Here is a little more detail about what PALMTHERAPY is and how it interacts.

PALMTHERAPY® is a short psychological intervention method that enables self-awareness through gentle but specific stimulation of certain areas of the palms and fingers in combination with targeted conversation.

It is an independent method that cannot be compared with hypnosis, NLP, EFT, quantum healing, or other methods.

Here again in more detail what Palmtherapy is and how it interacts.

PALMTHERAPY® is used for the rapid and lasting resolution of emotional stress, such as fears, phobias, anger, grief, conflicts and for personality development. PALMTHERAPY® makes use of the mutual relationship between the hand and the brain.

Why PALMTHERAPY®?

Through the use of PALMTHERAPY®, clients/patients are not only supported in overcoming fears and phobias, but also in developing personal skills and competencies.

The desired changes can be brought about gently and permanently by applying appropriate pressure points on the palms of the hands. The result is immediately apparent after the treatment and the client/patient provides immediate feedback.

PALMTHERAPY® is therefore considered one of the most successful short-term intervention methods. It is also often used to complement classic hypnosis or other well-known methods because of its rapid effect, particularly in difficult cases.

Where does PALMTHERAPY® come into play?
Why is it a palm resonance method?

When you are afraid, certain areas of the brain are active. By applying a stimulus to specific points on the palm of the hand, relaxation and change can be induced. The hand-brain connection is based on the medical fact that the hand is reciprocally connected to large areas of the sensory and motor cerebral cortex.

Indications for PALMTHERAPY® in

  • anxiety, phobias, trauma, guilt
  • fits of anger, deep sadness
  • restrictive behavioral patterns, addictions and psychosomatic conditions
  • allergies and general pain
  • ADS (attention deficit disorder)
  • hyperactivity
  • concentration difficulties
  • general learning blocks
  • in coaching and personal development
  • or coping with life crises

PALMTHERAPY® can also actively contribute to improving self-image and self-confidence and provide lasting help in coping with stressful life experiences.

The results achieved with PALMTHERAPY® are astonishing and convincing. However, it is important to note that PALMTHERAPY® is a complement to medical and psychological work.

PALMTHERAPY® is in no way a substitute for diagnosis and/or treatment by a doctor or alternative practitioner. PALMTHERAPY® is neither psychotherapy nor medical treatment.

Today, PALMTHERAPY® is used by doctors, psychologists, alternative practitioners, therapists as well as in non-medical psychology by hypnotists, in coaching and in psychological counseling.

Story

hypothesis

Based on his experiences and the underlying principles of graphology and graphotherapy, neurological facts, and scientific chirology, Moshé Zwang formulated the following hypothesis in the early 1980s: "Although the hands only occupy a small area of the body, they have a large representation in the sensory and motor areas of the cerebral cortex."

Hand lines therefore represent recurring brain activities that are connected to our thoughts, our personality, talents and emotional problems via the nervous system. Conversely, it is also possible to have a corresponding effect on a person's personality, mood and behavior patterns by stimulating the hand lines and certain areas of the palms.

“This effect is much more specific than purely random stimulation of the skin surface. The hand is like a computer keyboard! If you know where to press, you can achieve predictable results.” so coercion.

His hypothesis was later supported by multiple positive results and a randomized double-blind clinical trial.

He summarized his findings in his book “PALMTHERAPY® Program your mind through your Palms”. In April 2000, his work was described as one of the three greatest milestones of the last 100 years in the field of the hand-brain connection.

research situation

Modern diagnostic systems (PET or SPECT) confirm that pain and emotional stress can be localized in specific areas of the brain.

After the committee of the Medical Ethics Committee in Helsinki classified PALMTHERAPY® as a trustworthy method, it was approved for official medical studies worldwide.

In an officially conducted randomized clinical double-blind study, the effectiveness of PALMTHERAPY®, with its specific stimulation of the palms of the hands, was described. The results were published in March 2007, among others, in renowned Oxford Medical Journal published.

FAQs

According to the definition of Prof. Dr. Moshé Zwang, PALMTHERAPY® is the art and science of enhancing the best possible potential, personal development, fulfillment and success in all aspects of life through the stimulation of specific areas and lines of the palm of the hand.

These show the energetic pathways of the various characteristics of personality and mental functions.

The stimulation provided by PALMTHERAPY® bypasses the critical mind and the negative attitude towards new ways of thinking and behaving.

For this reason, PALMTHERAPY® can lead to rapid improvements in mood, behavior, thinking, potential, talents, personality and possibly life as a whole.

The PALMTHERAPY® process requires neither effort nor hardship. It can be used anytime and anywhere with ease.

PALMTHERAPY® can only be learned professionally through the PALMTHERAPY® Academy, the only official educational institution. We expressly distance ourselves from “free riders” who offer a “palm phobia technique”, a “palm therapy” or anything else.

If you are planning to use PALMTHERAPY® to increase your mental abilities, motivation, concentration, charisma, success energy and other qualities that influence fulfillment and success, please contact a certified practitioner. He will address your current challenge in detail and instruct you accordingly. If you are a therapist, coach or consultant, you will learn how to professionally stimulate the various lines and areas that are related to these aspects.

Do not practice PALMTHERAPY® if you are suffering from a mental disorder or emotional distress. PALMTHERAPY® can be very effective, but should be performed by a therapist, coach or counselor who is certified by us.

You can find all officially certified practitioners exclusively in the “Expert Finder” on www.palmtherapy.eu
You will also find PALMTHERAPY® professionals there. Professionals are highly specialized experts who can help you competently and reliably with a specific problem. They will introduce themselves to you in a short video.

Even though PALMTHERAPY® has proven to be effective in a wide range of psychotic disorders, self-treatment, for example via the well-known acupressure emergency points Cooperation and collaboration with a competent psychiatrist and/or doctor is necessary. There are many reasons for this recommendation:

  1. a) In most cases of psychotic problems it is necessary to control/reduce the onset of an acute situation by appropriate medication, which can only be prescribed by competent psychiatrists/doctors.
  2. b) Some aspects of psychotic problems are not mentioned by the person, thus leading to denial and lack of treatment.
  3. c) There may be hidden physical/medical problems that either trigger or aggravate mental/psychotic aspects. For example, hypoglycemia or thyroid dysfunction or hormonal imbalances can trigger anxiety attacks. We recommend a complete medical examination by your doctor before starting PALMTHERAPY® or any other short-term intervention method.

Personality disorders are very complex processes.
In this case, PALMTHERAPY® belongs in the hands of a specialized psychiatrist, psychologist or psychotherapist. Do you belong to one of the above-mentioned professional groups? We would be happy to advise you on possible useful areas of application for PALMTHERAPY®.

There are two main differences:

  1. a) PALMTHERAPY® focuses on the mental emotional aspect of an individual, on problem solving and improving the quality of life. Other hand therapies focus primarily on physical well-being and only to a lesser extent on the mental aspect of a person.
  2. b) PALMTHERAPY® focuses on the visible aspects of the hands, such as the lines of the palm and certain hills of the hands. Other forms of therapy focus on sensitive points and areas, which are found by simply pressing the point or with the help of an electronic acupuncture point finder.

Perhaps it surprises you that different methods have their basis in one and the same human hand, each is effective, and is presented as unique!

The answer lies in the Super Hand Meridian System. The PALMTHERAPY® book shows this Super Hand Meridian System. It is a large, network-like energy network, parts of which were first described by Dr. Joseph Calligaris (doctor, psychiatrist and professor of neurology, Italy, 1876-1944).
Every technique that stimulates the hand, including PALMTHERAPY®, uses only certain parts of this network-like energy network, but each with its own way of application.

PALMTHERAPY®, for example, focuses on the visible lines of the palms, which actually represent some of the energy pathways of the Super Hand Meridian System.
Hand reflexology uses some of the system's longitudinal energy pathways, while traditional acupuncture and Korean hand acupuncture use others.

Although each method works and has been proven to produce great results, none of the techniques utilize all of the energy pathways found in the Super Hand Meridian System.
This explains why different techniques can exist simultaneously. However, meridians overlap. This means that the stimulation of a point that is said to relieve headaches in one method may be mentioned in another as a way to relieve emotional stress, and vice versa.

In recent years, brain research has proven and documented that stimulation lasting just a few minutes in certain areas of the brain (directly or indirectly) triggers emotions ranging from excessive fear to joy and well-being.
The stimulation of an area called the limbic system and other areas of the brain showed that, in addition to feelings such as anger, hatred, guilt and love, childhood memories were also awakened.

By using different electrodes in different areas of the brain, researchers were able to turn the responses on and off. The cause and effect connection between brain stimulation and emotions or behavioral changes was obvious. There are billions of nerve cells, or neurons, in the brain.

The neurons have a spider web-like structure that allows for a network of interactions through synapses or missing connections in the complex structure. Scientists have found that stimulating the skin, for example by rubbing it, leads to various rapid changes in the chemistry in the synaptic clefts, resulting in pain relief and endorphin release.

They also found that there is often a relationship between a certain amount of neurotransmitters in the synaptic clefts and different mental states. Furthermore, brain maps indicate that the hand, although only a small part of the body, occupies a large area in the brain, both in the motor and sensory areas of the cerebral cortex.

This means that their hands, including their fingers, can exchange a large amount of information with the brain. This knowledge may give us a clue as to why rapid changes in mental state are possible through PALMTHERAPY®. This may explain why impressive results can be achieved by simply stimulating certain lines and areas, which in the scientific art of palmistry (chirology) represent certain mental activities and characteristics of the personality.

For example, activating certain lines can produce rapid calming, while stimulating other lines can bring back negative childhood memories. Other areas that are stimulated can support mental alertness, vitality, concentration, memory, talents, planning and decision-making, and elements important for fulfillment and success.

These may be the result of chemical changes and other physiological processes achieved by stimulating certain lines and areas of the hand, similar to how brain researchers have been able to achieve rapid changes in thinking and behavior for emotions ranging from heightened fear to joy and well-being by stimulating certain areas of the brain.

No, PALMTHERAPY® is not painful. PALMTHERAPY® is a gentle stimulation of carefully selected lines and areas of the hands. It is usually carried out with the thumbnail or fingertips.

The stronger and more acute the emotion, the more noticeable the improvement. For example, in the case of phobias, anger or sadness, a change can occur within 5 to 20 minutes by stimulating the right points in the palms of the hands.

It varies from person to person. In difficult cases, it can take more time and up to three sessions to achieve desensitization for a negative experience. Each session usually lasts an hour. It includes the preliminary and final discussion, as well as the stimulation of the line(s) or corresponding areas related to the issue.

If an issue is not related to another issue, then one session may be sufficient. However, since most issues are related to one or more negative experiences in life, it is recommended that these be desensitized as well. Most people who have experienced the impressive effects of PALMTHERAPY® continue treatment to address other aspects of their lives that can ultimately lead to fulfillment and success.

Redesigning your personality and life through PALMTHERAPY® requires more than just stimulation in certain areas and lines of the hand. Depending on the problem, this may take a certain amount of time. Please contact a certified practitioner or professional.

Yes, the treatment with PALMTHERAPY can also be carried out online with a trained PALMTHERAPY practitioner. This involves guided stimulation using a “surrogate hand” that triggers neurological feedback via the so-called mirror neurons.

The rapid balancing effect of PALMTHERAPY® on the mind has been well observed in the treatment of anxiety, traumatic memories, severe anxiety disorders, phobias, anger and grief.

Experience with PALMTHERAPY® has also shown that it is very helpful in the development of positive thoughts and behaviors, talents, self-confidence, motivation, ability to learn, willpower, mental clarity, attractive personality, charisma, intuition and success.

Nowadays, PALMTHERAPY® is used as a complete coaching and therapy method to accompany people with clarity to new solutions in self-efficacy.

The PALMTHERAPY® training program was first officially recognized and registered for professional development by the “Board of Behavioral Science and the Associated Bodywork and Massage Therapy Association as well as the American Massage Therapy Association” in August 2000 in California, USA.

Today there is the “PALMTHERAPY® Training Masterclass” in 3 qualification levels: Practitioner, Master and Professional with the designation of psychological counselor with a focus on PALMTHERAPY®. The PALMTHERAPY® Academy provides extensive specialist knowledge, detailed information and individual application options for therapists, doctors, psychologists, alternative practitioners and coaches in a practical way.

PALMTHERAPY coaching is aimed at healthy people who have a specific need for clarification, e.g. in the areas of personal development, relationships, career, etc.

PALMTHERAPY counseling also aims to clarify specific issues such as parenting, nutrition, relationships, etc.

PALMTHERAPY therapy is a medical treatment for complex mental illnesses or is used as a supportive treatment within the framework of medicine. It may only be used by medical professionals with the appropriate license to practice medicine within the respective professional profile and professional law.
