They have fun and allow themselves to step out of line without thinking about what others might think of them.

Whereas you may doubt yourself, lack confidence, or simply feel like others don't like you and therefore hold back.

Do you want to overcome your fear of saying yes to yourself?
Then answer the following questions for yourself:

  1. Are you one of those people who always want to please everyone?
  2. If so, why is that?
  3. What benefit does it have for you?
  4. What bad things could happen if you stop?
  5. Do you sometimes feel guilty when you do something you want to do?
  6. Where do you think it comes from and what is your conscience trying to tell you?
  7. Do your desires match your needs and values or are they just “substitute satisfactions”?
  8. What is important to you?
  9. What can you do differently from now on?

Once you have answered all the questions honestly, you will understand why it is so difficult to simply say yes to yourself.

No matter what you do, there will always be someone who doesn't want you to have fun or be successful. Unfortunately, you will never be able to change that.
Most of the time it is those who cannot manage it themselves.

Therefore, do what you really want and what your heart beats for!
